     Free grocery/food assistance.

    Service area: Brockport School District, south of Ridge Road 

    Masks required. Bring your own bags if possible. One shopper per family. Three shoppers in the area at once.

  • LUNCH CLUB 60

    Lodge on the Canal, 133 State Street 

    Lunch Tuesday-Friday at noon. Call 585-426-4120 x3215 for information & reservation. 

    For anyone age 60 or older regardless of residency, a spouse of any age of an eligible participant, disabled persons under age 60 who reside in the home of an eligible participant and accompany the person to the meal site, disabled persons under age 60 who reside in housing facilities where congregate meals are served, and volunteers of any age who assist in the meal service during meal time. 

    Suggested donation of $3.50 (not required). Guests (other than those noted above) must pay $7.50. 

    Free food from Samaritan Harvest Tuesday & Friday, 9:30am-11am.

    Free gently used clothing, coats, shoes & accessories for any child attending BCSD, along with new backpacks & school supplies.

    Offers personal hygiene items, paper products and cleaning supplies to families in need who reside in the Brockport Central School District, SUNY Brockport students and rural farmworkers.

  • FREE VISION SCREENING

    Brockport Lions Club

    For children 6 months to 6 years old. Financial assistance given to Brockport students needing an eye exam or glasses, whose families cannot afford it or don’t have insurance coverage. 

  • SWEDEN GIVE-A-LIFT

    Transportation Program provided by Sweden/Clarkson Community Center. 

    Call 585-431-0090 Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. 

    Five business days’ notice requested. 

    No-cost transportation to medical, dental and eye appointments. 

    Serving residents age 55+ in Brockport, Clarkson, Hamlin & Sweden for rides within the boundaries of Monroe County.

    Families can “shop” for free toys for their children. 

    Flyers are sent home through school in November. It is also posted on Facebook. 

    The Toy Shelf will be open 2 days in December.
